Okay I'll be picking up this cream puff on Sunday in Perry after I get 4 new tires on it. Been trying to score a ragtop most of my adult life and something always went wrong. And since I've had 2 other K cars in recent years I feel pretty good about this one even though it's an 85. It has to make it about 180 miles back down 341 to Darien and be my daily driver for a few months until I can find something newer . Then it becomes a project. Like repaint in any other color than black and new carpet, upholstery etc.
Anyway damn the torpedoes and whatnot. It's a palm trees and ocean breeze kinda car. So I'm all over it.

Okay since y'all axed the Ford next to it is about a 53 panel van that's just a shell. My old landlord in Perry owns it and swears that's the next project after his frame off Willys pickup. We measured it out a while back and the old Toyota drivetrain and frame he has would probably fit. It's a carbed 22R motor on a 4WD setup. Hey it's better than converting it Chevy.

I've owned a black Acura Legend ( back in 97 when I thought I was up town) In 05 I bought a black 93 Miata. BTW that broke me off of little cars. In 2010 my I got a real good deal on a Honda Passport ( Isuzu Rodeo) that was black for my wife with a sunroof. It was like sitting in a microwave.
