My new Mountain Cur

Traded my buddy out of this yellow Mountain Cur and she is my new sweet heart.
I have to get some weight on her before putting her to work but she is gonna make a good squirrel and coon dog. I let her see a few tree rats and she put em up a tree fast and had to drag her away, ha ha.

She will make a great hunting dog.

I have a BMC that has some of the Ladner line in her. She came from a line that was bred for hog hunting, but I've never hog hunted her. My wife would kill me. But she's an awesome hunting dog for squirrels, coons, etc., and she's pretty good at tracking/finding downed game. Smartest dog I've ever owned.

Lucy and I worked on a leash a few hours last night and an hour this morning. She is a pretty good tracker and tree dog already. Just needs some work before I can cut her loose.
About to hit the Vet for some wormer and see if I can get about 10 pounds of weight to cover those bones.

After a fews hours in the woods last night, she got hound dog lazy in the garage right by the heater. LoL

Good Lookin Cur,She oughta be a lotta fun, purina puppy chow w/table scraps (#1 lil bacon grease) will put the weight on and was purdy easy to change over to dog chow, from my experience.
