can you weight loads of the "black" and decrease group size like old palma match ammo?

Hornady American Gunner 6.6 CM 140 BTHPs has worked very well for me. Shot through my AO custom and a Bergara HMR. I have shot about 600 rounds so far with good results out to 1200 yards. I originally shot it for brass but when I saw how well it shoots - I have been using it versus reloading. S&B "Tactical" 140 FMJ is very cheap - a buddy of mine had some and gave it to me - my AO custom did not like it but the Bergara shot sub MOA with it at 100 yards.

When I was super picky about my loads, I didn’t even weigh empty cases; too many variables that had nothing to do with volume. I would sort cases by filling them with alcohol, then dumping the alcohol into a pan and weighing THAT.

FYI the "Black" loads are usually tailored to work with gas guns (AR10 in this case) as many are rebarrelling their 308 gas guns into 6.5 for better long distance accuracy. Their match ammo is the ELD-M bullets. Lots have good results with the Black stuff, but it's not as accurate for most as their match ammo (ELD-M). But it's a good place to start.

I need to get a few varieties of 6.5 ammo soon. hoping to have a new 6.5 rifle in May or June.
