My old Horton Steelforce crossbow.

With horton crossbow scope. Coming in at UNDER 5 lbs. with a 150 lb draw weight and 240 fps arrow speed. I use heavy arrows with sharp blades so penetration won't be an issue.

I think I am going to get out and kill something with it this season. I need to knock the dust off it.

Any objections? Like not enough speed or draw weight? Let me know.

I don't know. Maybe I will get an excaliber recurve crossbow. They have one that is reasonably priced. I don't like the compound crossbows.

I have one of those too. Just need to mount a red dot on it and it will be gtg. Just got finished putting a new string on it.

Yup, I love how light the thing is. The last one I used was so heavy and it was a compound that required a string to load it. This one I can do without a string to load.
