Sand blasted the Ceracote off. Then progressive sanding with 320, 400, 600, 800, 1000, 1500, 2000, 3000, 0000 steel wool, Flitz gun polish.

Took about 20 hours. 1st time I've tried it...and last time.

The labor definitely shows. Keep your eye open for my completely polished star bm9. Thanks for sharing!
FYI mother's mag wheel polish will keep it from tarnishing...
