My "WalMart can kiss my ass" thread

Most everyting in our house now is German made, except my computer and Ipad. I went to the store yesterday to get pens and a new razor. Wanna take a stab at where they were made? Germany. You'd have to hunt pretty hard in the US to come home with 100% US made goods at any store. I come home with 100% German goods without even trying. This country does a great job promoting dometically made goods based on the fact that they are of higher quality and craftsmanship and built to work better and last longer. Germans tend to be less concerned with price and more concerned about quality. The German economy is doing quite well, and would be much better off without the leeches in the EU like Greece, Italy and Portugal.
Damn I remember a time when the U.S thrived like that.

Got 3 places in town to buy ammo from. One of them shops at WalMart to resell and both of the two that AREN'T WalMart are ALWAYS out of just about everything. SO, tell me, where AM I going to shop?

And, YES, I check online retailers DAILY. I'm just trying to lay in that last thousand or so rounds of 22 LR.

So here's what you guys have to start doing. It is a pain but it takes patience and understanding the venue. Either you want it or you don't. You will or you won't. You have to start hitting as many Wal-Marts as you can to see what they have. I have been rather fortunate the past couple of weeks and have gotten a ton of .22lr bricks and 9mm for that matter. And I've shared the wealth with other ODTers here at reasonable non-panic prices too. The .22lr bricks are either 333 or 555 round bricks and the 9mm have been 50 or 100 round bricks. So, you just have to keep looking. Be patient. It'll come to you. Don't let it anger you so. Life's too short to be angry about things we really can't control.

That's just my $.02

Does one have to have 100% US goods in there possesion to point out obvious correlations? Most everyting in our house now is German made, except my computer and Ipad. It's interesting that you don't see any correlation.

Its interesting that you think I don't see any correlation. Not even sure how you came to that conclusion based on a simple question I asked.

I was actually finding the humor and hypocrisy in your comments.

Funny, I just thought yesterday that I would quit hitting the two Walmarts i pass on the way home from work everyday to see if they have ammo. Got lucky a couple of times and got .223, 9mm, 45acp, 7.62x39, 5.56 and the ever elusive .22lr. Lately though they never have anything. I missed the 420 round Fed 5.556 by an hour and none of them have ever had any spam cans of Tula .223. I've got plenty of ammo right now, been stocking up since the 08 election. I'm just going to chillax now and let every one else have a shot at it!

I have found that most of the ammo is being bought by store employees
There for very little makes it to the ammo
case. My walmart limits ammo to 3 boxes
Per day no matter what cal. And a 8am to 10pm
Start and cut off of sales.
