Mystery .22 - Please help identify

Looking for help here. Many years ago, I was given this old .22. There are no markings at all anywhere on this gun. I'm hoping the ODT experts might be able to identify it.

Barrel length is 22.75
There is not a external hammer.
On the buttstock, there's a squirrel or chipmunk in an upright position.
Barrel is octagon.
Single shot.

It appears to be a Martini type action.. that's all I know. Just giving the thread a bump

The mystery continues. I think it might be Professor Plum in the Library with the candlestick....who knows??
