Are they that bad? I am not very verse on scopes in general.

I've had mine on my deer rifle for 25+ years, still a good, clear scope. I paid $100 for it.

I have a hard time trusting a scope that came with a rifle. It's like a buying a combo rod and reel, there's something about it that says this thing is going to **** up.

Now I have an excuse to get a deer rifle.

Probably not a good scope for anything AR, right?
