We had this playing all the time on our boat.
When I hear one of these I remember where I was and what I was doing when the song came out. I had no use for hippies, but one of my favorite songs was "San Francisco". When it came out I was in flight engineer school. Then it was survival school, then jungle survival school, final stop; Nam. Three years before that I remember the Dixiecups singing "Going to the Chapel" while I was going to basic. Thanks for posting this.
