Billboard parade than stock car racing. Not even
that since no such thing as a V-8 RWD Camry at
your local Tioda dealer.
Fortunately plenty of videos of the golden days of
NASCAR when men were men and cars were cars.
How many of the current drivers be willing to drive
with a single loop bar and a lap belt?
Speaking of crashes, a sure enough miracle is that
King Richard Petty is still with us and still able to
walk & talk as many years as he competed at the
top and the numerous crashes he has been in.

The Austin Dillon crash was the first one i thought of after seeing Newman's.
Yes they’ve been a lot of bad wrecks over the years.. ERNIE IRVAN, Bobby Allison, Davey Allison,King petty, Steve park, way more than I can think off right now..

That hit was definitely one of the worst ive ever seen. I wouldnt be surprised if teams beef up the cage where the car was hit. All the bars are down on the side of the car but the roofline is pretty bare where he got hit.
I wonder Why NASCAR doesn't have the funny car type of cages in the race cars. I guess visibility is more important!
They are some of the drivers I used to watch. I know the guys from the 70s/80s era, but the ones racing now, I wouldn't know them if I stood next to 'em at a store check out line.
Yep.. at that time he was my favorite driver.. I don’t think he was scaired of no fast car..
