The wife and I are headed up to Nashville this weekend. Not too familiar with the restaurants. We are staying next to the music row and are open to most food types. Not looking for chains or tourist traps.

Pucketts. We go for for breakfast everyday we are up there. The rest of the menu looks good also. 500 Church St, Nashville, TN 37219

Jacks BBQ. There is one on Broadway and another on Charlotte Ave. Good brisket (for Tenn).

The Teds Montana grill near Vanderbilt Univ is dang good as well.

If you are out on Broadway late there is a decent pizza joint by the Johhny Cash museum called Luigi's City Pizza. It seems like the best pizza in the world and they sell by the slice. But I am usually in a ragged state by the time I get there - it may taste like lil caesars when sober. Also Sun Diner is right next to the Cash Museum. Dang good Chicken and waffles with gravy - sounds weird but delicious. https://thesundiner.com/

Going to be there in October for a long weekend!

Was up there last weekend for our anniversary. We ate at this restaurant downtown and it was very good.

Ty sir. We have free breakfast at the hotel. I was thinking about being cheap and hitting it up in the mornings. If it is lack luster we’ll head over to Pucketts the next morning.

Love me some bbq! Have you tried Tex’s world famous? In April we stopped by Nashville barrel on the way to STL and found Tex’s right around the corner. I would definitely recommend a stop in both places.

LOL about the pizza. Broadway has a way of doing that to you.

Looks good! From the pic on their homepage it looks like they have a few whiskeys to choose from. That never hurts my feelings.
