Nasty surprise the other morning

Ex wife’s family parked a old Land Rover in our driveway, sat for a few months. Went to move it and wouldn’t start, popped the hood and a wasp flew out. Okay cool. Opened the hood and the entire windshield area was a nest. Never ran so fast in my life.

When I was small (maybe 5) I recall huge wasp nest underneath the eaves of the house we lived in. It was an old Mill Village house and the nest were huge. Dad would light a wick torch and burn the wings off.

At the farm one of the gates seems to have a nest inside, I have been stung 3x lately, Guinea wasp. Aggressive bastards.

I have met the enemy, 5 hits on the foot one morning going to the Academy years ago, and it ain't fun. Tried Benadryl it did not work, while driving down towards Dalton the pain shooting up my leg was so bad, I went to emergency...Shots and Hydrocodone script helped but, that was also the day I had to pass physical combat course final..I feel your Pain Brother!!

That’s a bald-faced hornets nest. There could be two thousand of those mofos in that one. Definitely proceed with caution!
