So I’m building a PDW in 300BLK with an 8” barrel. I would like a nice 30 cal can that’s quiet using subs but not as long. Not sure if theres a compact (K) can that will give me the sound reduction I want. Also my handguard has a small ID so I can't tuck it so the OD of the can doesn't have to be under 1.5"

I have the Dead Air Ghost 45 M (which is rated for .300 subs) and it is fantastic.

If I was shopping for a .30 caliber can like you described, the Sandman K would be the one.

I recommend the Omega over any short model can. Short model cans are always significantly (a lot) louder than full size cans. In the alternative, a Dead Air Ghost or SilencerCo Octane would be a good option.

I would go to an integral suppressed upper and then only have 1 stamp to worry about. They are much quieter.

I have the AAC 7.62 SD and am very pleased with it. Subsonic ammo damn near sounds like a suppressed .22

This was before my boating accident though
