I have used Bruce Weeks at Mill Creek Gun works many times. He is right there in Woodstock so very close to you. He does a hot blue and refinish. Not going to be factory finish, but looks amazing when he is done.

Few of his work. Like I said not factory, but presents well. He redid a shotgun from my great grandfather that had been passed down. I’ll try to find it. He is also very reasonable with pricing.

Send it to smith, i think its 225ish and there are a few options for bluing for you to choose from. You will still be getting a factory refinished smith back.
