Hi Guys & Gals! Well, I have the opportunity to purchase either a White "Whitetail" or Austin & Halleck 420 Muzzleloader in .50 cal. I "want" to own ONE of these (can't afford both right now" & price on both is the same). I own several other BIG brands like , T/C, CVA, & Knight. I've combed the Interweb reading EVERYTHING I can get my eyes on & I'm even more excited & conflicted as to which one to get. My furthest shot will be 200 yards which is well within the maximum for these two. Ignition systems are the same & legal everywhere I want to hunt. A&H is bolt action while White is an inline side handle type like CVA/Knight models. A&H has a 1:28" twist rate & White has 1:24". I'll be shooting loose 777 FFG w/ T/C 250gr ShockWave Sabots. Both companies are no longer in production so take away customer support (parts are available online). They are flat out two AWESOME choices.
Soooo, who here has shot/shoots either & wants to give me your $2 worth? PLEASE sway me!
