What sort of rail do you suppose this is? I kinda wanna toss one together (rather than spending the $135 they're charging). These are made by Primal Concepts.

Also, I doubt it, but are there any legal issues with something like this? Thanks ODT!!!

Cheapest 2 piece carbine rail on either ebay or any other sight. Weight is not really a factor here and all is needed is a lathe to make the slot in the bat.

Looks simple,probably turn bat down to I.D of handguards then run some screws in and epoxy would help to.

You want the cheap steel hand guard for this. Aluminum would bend too easy "checking your tires".
