Guys,
I believe this is a replacment barrel for a heavy machine gun. The box is made just for this barrel and replacement parts. The large label in the lid reads; CAIXA PARA METRALHADORA, with a diagram of the parts that would be in the field kit. The bore is .333 thousands. My father had taken this in trade many years ago and I inherited it. Well it was more like I found it when cleaning his garage out. Please look at the pictures and if you can help me identify it I'd be very appreciative.
