Need help with my 2007 Wrangler unlimited (misfire issues)

Not sparking when commanded ?
Or no command signal to the coil ?

I had some intermittent issues with my 91 mustang engine that's in my 74 bronco and a different computer fixed it

Pretty sure it's the pcm, but we'll find out soon. Only tried 2 coil packs, and haven't tested all the wires to coil pack yet.

New PCM fixed the issue. Now I can focus on modifications.

Stage 1.
Hard top, windshield, side steps, new radio and new carpet.

Stage 2.
4wd conversion

Stage 3
Lift, tires, and gears.

Should be a fun project for the rest of the year and 2018.

If I can find one at a good price, preferably a dana 44 out of a rubicon, might go with a dana 35 out of the standard wrangler and build it up later.

Save for the 44, if you are planning big tires 35 or bigger. Otherwise the dana 35 will do fine

Drove a little over 100 miles round trip to get the hard top. The old wrangler ran well, but did throw a code for emissions but no misfire code. It has a small exhaust leak just before the catalytic converter. Needs s new gasket.

Did forget how much power the 3.8l doesn't have. Not a great interstate engine.

The power struggle is real!

I ended up trying to trim as much weight as possible, switching to soft top and losing the spare and spare mount. Gained 1 MPG.

Just going from no top to the hard top was actually really noticeable. I did average 18.1 mpg, but I hate down shifts going up hill.

- Rusty’s control arm system in from
- 35x12.5r18 on Sahara wheels
- ARB front bumper
- Barricade Rear bumper
- swapped both front 2wd sxle and rear dana 44 with a matching set of dana 44 and dana 30 axles from another jku.
- LED front and rear lights.

Still needed
- Transfer Case
- drive shafts
- Linkage and shifter
- 4x4 cross member
- Alignment.
