Ive used camo netting wrapper around tree's about chest high while sitting down. Its effective and cheap.

If I’m not mistaken, you can begin rifle hunting during the Primitive Weapon’s week on private land. I’d call the DNR office to ensure that you qualify for the early opportunity.
I’m not sure if you are interested in the additional opportunity, but
Piedmont NWR also has a rifle hunt with areas that are easily accessible. If you are reasonably close to or have time to drive to Juliette, you might still have time to submit an application in person. Their application deadline ends tomorrow. You can also call after the drawing and see if any unfilled spots are available first-come, first serve. The unfilled spots used to be available after the drawing took place.

I have a red rock and it works great,does pick up debris in the woods like sticks and leaves but it only helps.I also have a pair of crossed sticks I rest my gun on.You can figure the height you need when you decide on a suitable chair to sit in.Good luck.
