Need help with My Whistler Scanner.

My daughter bought me a Whistler digital trunking scanner for Christmas, but I can't seem to program it right. Anyone know of a place in the Fayetteville area that could program it? Really all I need is the Fayette Co. area programmed in. Any help would be appreciated. It's a Whistler model WS1040.

There otta be a rule ,no modern electronics for old people. Let a six year pol program it for you ,that's what i do.

I haven't yet because I read in a forum that they won't do it. Maybe I'll give them a try anyway, can't hurt. Thanks for your reply.

It's probably a website help program... that is more complicated than the scanner... so that brings up another problem. ...viscious cycle...
