Need some help finding the best place to buy a suit...

I'm up to speed on my business casual but I need to take the plunge and buy a full suit. Where do you go? Would like to stay OTP and under $1k. Recommendations???

The suits also come with matching hats!

You can get a couple of nice suits for less than $500 at K&G. They do the alterations on sight - unless you just want a name brand or high-priced suit.

I have two $25 gift cards each requiring a $100 purchase. I went there last week and bought my son some Easter gear.

Its hit or miss but definitely worth checking out.

I think there is one by Town Center mall and there is the one downtown already mentioned.

Edit: I only say that because their inventory is constantly rotating.

If you are lucky enough to be able to wear off-the rack, hit Stein Mart. Usually a coat is 175 and the matching slacks are 79. Ralph Lauren, Nautica and a couple of other brands.
I've also had great luck finding nice stuff at K&G as well. Best selection of ties around. Whole wall at the town Center location.

EDIT: For dress shirts splurge and get the non-iron ones at Brooks brothers factory store. They last damn near a decade and never need dry-cleaning and always look freshly starched.
