Need some help from South Ga folks

I think Macongo has the lead on that.
All you friends of mine that keep suggesting Forsyth/Macon/WR for "South Georgia" are cracking me up. I mean it is south of the ATL, but its the center of the state.
Trying to figure out where that is.There's the old national guard building in Perry. In fact they used to have gun shows there. Maybe someone could check if we could use it for that again. It would actually be perfect.letusbuyyourcar
Think it’s where the furniture sto is now or close to it it’s been 40 years since I went to a gun show there.and it’s not air conditioned All I can remember.
I cant think of a suitable venue here in Americus. South Ga Tech, here in Americus host the NRA banquet here but I dont know how open they would be to meet. Plains has a community center but dont think it would be big enough.
I would think Albany. Of course Albany is Albany but any town big enough to have a building to host an event is going to be big enough to have crime issues.
I think anything South of Macon (yes its middle Ga) would be a great draw for those who live South of Atlanta. Of course if you go further South you draw from areas that may not be able to travel up to events. For a centralized meet not South Macon is a bet. On an unrelated precoffee ramble I think GHSA should use Macon or Columbus instead of always somewhere north of Atlanta or Savannah.

True, but if it were held in the true south we could probably expect to have about 10 people show up.
