I just bought a leftover 2017 Mercedes Sprinter. Already have 12K miles on it and I love it. Didn't think I'd like a van, after being in a loaded Dodge Ram Megacab but this thing rocks, and has all the space I need and then some. Worth every penny.

You want a Union City or Grumman step Van. You want gas engine. It is tough to find them with AC . consider adding AC . You want the GM chassis and a small block or a 6.0. Every other body is a huge step down from Grumman/ Grumman-Olson and Union City. Supreme is at the bottom of the heap of body builders. GM appears to be no longer selling the workhorse chassis. You want a Ford chassis before a Freightliner. I worked for 5+ years in a step van fleet. I added some more below.You don't want an Izusu we got about 20 here in Ga. in a buyout of a competitor. They were not durable and used a lot of dealer only parts. They had issues where aftermarket filters were used. Expensive brake parts and underpowered. Good turning radius though.

Part 2 , New ones are not that out of hand expensive since they are basic. You can order almost any interior you want. Swing doors on the rear are easier to deal with that roll up doors for daily delivery.
