Same here. Guess I've been fortunate or either I'm not as "anal" as a lot of others on here when it comes to things that don't go as I expected............... That's life in general.

Yeah, I did one trade where I got a fairly well used gun (that was supposed to be almost new and hardly used) for an almost brand new gun that I bought new and put 100 rounds through and didn't like. Was my fault for not opening it up at the meet and checking the rifling so I let it slide. he met me at the arranged time and place and was prompt so I wasn't going to stick him with a neg. He also struck me as someone who just didn't know that the used gun he got and decided to trade because he didn't care for it was snot as much as it was so I didn't completely blame him for it.

I still enjoyed the gun I got from him more than the one I gave him anyway

I truly enjoy doing deals with folks on here as well as other sites, more for the fun than anything else because I'm not at all a "collector" of firearms. Like I said, I've been real fortunate not to be flimm-flammed by anybody as yet, and if I did, I'd probably chalk it up to experience. And of course, never deal with that person again regardless, unless they offered to make things right face to face. In the end, all that we are really doing here is just moving "stuff" around. I know there are some bad apples on this site (especially lately), so I just try to do my homework as best I can before I agree to anything....................

Place, date, time was set...

Got a text from the guy saying...

"So sorry but my wife saw me walking out the door with the gun and asked me what I was doing. I told her I was trading it and she said 'Don't you dare trade that gun!' So I won't be able to trade with you today. Sorry."

Negged that ass.

I had a member the other day ask me to sell him a gun that wasn't even "four sail" when finally I agreed to sell it, we set a time & place blah, blah, blah...

30 mins later the same guy messaged me asking to borrow $500 for they day so he can buy the same gun from someone else. :confused2:

Item misrepresentation, seller said he'd give me my money back and continued to play games and said he was in jail. Lesson learned from, pos is still around too.

I ran out of ink for my press....

Good to go now!
