Long story short but it was time for the wife to go so I had to make the decision to scrap my transport business that I've been building for the last 4 years. By luck a friend of mine was looking to buy a mulching rig but wanted someone he could trust to operate it. He purchased an existing mulching business which came with a John Deere 333G, John Deere mulching head, a tooth bucket, and a Big Tex gooseneck. For the time being he is quoting jobs until we get more familiar with the business and the market and I will be developing my skill one job at a time. If you're in the south metro Atlanta area or have leases in the area we will primarily be servicing Henry, Pike, Butts, Lamar and Spalding. I am having to figure out how to make this schedule work with raising a 6 year old so there will be some growing pains but overall I am looking forward to spending more time at home and not out on the road. Finally making up some lost time with my little girl. Anyways, just wanted to put this out there in case these services are beneficial to anyone.

A random question

how big a tree or shrub can that thing shred

It CAN do up to a 12" pine and 8" hardwood. That being said it takes up to an hour to grind down the base once you take the top off so it's not really a practical thing to do, but If you were clearing a fence line and came up on a single tree in the way, it could be done.
