New gun range in Newnan? Aegis Range and Arms?

Yeah, we keep hearing about it, and it's been in the paper, but from what I know it's still not open. Supposed to be top-of-the-line. I sure will be happy when it does.

Just sent them an email about if/when they will open.

Here's the answer:

Crackerz,

While we are operating as a firearms broker, retailer and instructors the range is not yet open. We are finalizing the paperwork necessary to start raising capital for that project at this time and we will soon start advertising the investment oppurtunity. We are planning to be in or very near the city of Newnan around exit 47 but we cannot yet release the specific details to the public. Our target for opening is early 2012 but we are working hard to make it sooner.

Thank you for your interest, we will keep you on our mailing list and let you know as make progress.

Yeah, I keep hearing about it too, but... If you talk to the guys at Aegis, they will ask you to invest within the first 2 minutes of the conversation. I also heard AR Bunker is close to breaking ground on their range. Any info on that??

Lee told me the other day they are still working on it. Either way I will go to Lock, Stock, and Barrel for as long as I can. I love that place, you don't get people like Mr. Tommy at all these new hot shot ranges. Yeah his place is old, but I go as often as I can. Started way back in high school when I would go every fall to sight in my deer rifle. His prices on range time are good, and he takes care of his regulars. He also will come give you lessons for a few if your shooting is poor lol. He's good people

Well he is a good 'smith. Although he dropped my SKS on the floor the other day and acted like it didn't even happen. LOL That was probably why we shot for free that day lol
