New life for a 686 cs-1

So I have this S&W 686 cs-1 with a 4" barrel. As you can tell from the pictures she has seen better days. This gun is an absolute shooter and usually finds its way into my range bag almost always. Since I think it should look as good as it shoots, I decided to go ahead and do something about it. Below are some before and after pics,

Step 1 is disassembly...

About 15 minutes later it's just a pile of parts. Next its off to the bead blaster.

Once done here (and it's very fast) time to use compressed air to remove any of the left over glass bead media.

Putting it back together always takes longer, but here is the finished product sporting some uncle mikes grips. These grips are not original for cs-1's, but I prefer these for shooting above all other goodyear styles.
