New list of "Best" Whisky's (or Whiskey if you prefer)

If you drink Scotch, you really should try Oban and Red Breast.

I like Crown, but not Crown Rye. I tried it, just not my drink, but others like it.

I like Gentleman Jack, Woodford Reserve, Four Roses Single Barrel, and Four Roses Small Batch Select, Basil Hayden, Elijah Craig, and others. I have just had some Yellowstone. I thought it was good, but I don't know if I would buy it since I like others better. Just my opinion and what do I know.

Redbreast Irish Whiskey was one of the ‘a-ha’ whiskies for me. Damn fine stuff and still one of my favorites.

I think I’ll go pour some right now........

Just came back from a trip to Uruguay- stopped in duty-free shop and they had 21 yr old Royal Salute for $240. I asked how much for two bottles and they said they had a special for $256! I asked again and they confirmed the price for two bottles was $256.

Only problem was I had no room in my suitcase to fit two bottles, so I asked if they had any suitcases and turns out they had a nice hard sided suitcase for $25 and I said SOLD! So out the door price for two fifths of Royal Salute and a suitcase was $281. Best scotch whiskey I have tasted, even though I am a fan of bourbons.
