Right -- was that used in the car or just the utility -- GI descendent of the jeep?

Development Background
If the Hurricane name in this context seems familiar to you, the engineers admit they were a more than a little inspired by the old Willys "Hurricane" I-4 engine that was put to good work in the CJ-3, -5 and -6, claiming its 30 HP per liter specific output was "game-changing" at the time. That said, 30 HP per liter can't put a candle to the new Hurricane's 133+ HP per liter—and that's just the SO version."
v8's are a dying breed fellas.
Next they are really going to push electric stuff.
I can tell you, the f150 twin turbo 3.5 ecoboost w/10 speed definitely has more LOW END grunt than an idential 5.0 coyote v8. I drove two back to back. Now the v8 sound kills the v6 whinning dog sound.
As far as mpg. I'm not convinced the turbos get much, if any better, than the v8's.

As an insider to the mopar world I have mixed feelings, the new 6 will produce more power than the v8 and have better fuel economy. But I hate to see the Detroit Hemi get replaced by more Italian trash.
