New project

My stepfather spent a couple of years restoring a 78 Pace Car Edition. Matter of fact I think that and the Anniversary Editions were all there were in 78. He spent big money on drivetrain and underneath like brake lines and hardware. But then when it came to the interior he just lost interest. So back in 07 08ish he asked me to eBay it for him for some ridiculous price like $12,500. So I had to pull up other 78s on eBay and hurt his feelings. When all the smoke cleared I think he got $6K for it.

All that being said, yours is a much more desirable model. And Corvette Rally wheels are among my favorites.

You know most don't do it for an investment , Right?

Oh yeah, but he had no idea that he was buying an undesirable gas crunch low performance model. Automatic car on top of that. But the same guy around the same time bought a 78 or 79 FLHRP I believer was the model. For one it was a Shovel head bike which were not exactly popular. And second strike was that the P stood for Police model. Cop bikes don't seem to bring as much.
I suppose if it's what YOU want then resale value is a secondary issue .
