Need to break this one in soon. CVA Hunter 44mag w/Custom Paint by YT. Wearing a cheap Simmons Shotgun scope at the moment. Will wear a Vortex 2x7 before October. Hope to hit the range next week.

It is 225gr. Not settled on that ammo. It was the cheapest available to get started. I am really thinking about the HSM 305gr load. The rifle has a 20 twist and should handle the heavy weight loads.

I'm gonna give this a shot this year. Savage lightweight hunter in .308 wearing a Leupold VX-2 2-7x33 in Talley mounts. Weighs just over 6lbs.
