I've got one just like that, loved that gun, killed many a deer. It got to where it would jam every time, used it as a single shot a few times until I got a sweet deal on a Ruger 30.06.

ooops got a Savage Sierra in 308 Nikon on top from an odt member,goes to range tomorrow.Still in pursuit of another 243 and 270.Good luck all.
I got this for my granddaughter last Christmas. She's pretty excited about using it this season.

Trying to decide what I want next. I have a Browning BAR in 30-06 but I an leaning toward the Ruger predator in 243
Remington 783 in 308. Stock scope. Going to upgrade scope soon. Got it for Christmas last year never fired.

Got it back in June as a graduation present to myself. I love it. Taken it on several 3-5 mile woods walks and its such a great gun in the woods. Only weighs 7 pounds and holds 10+1. a great point and shoot rifle with surprising accuracy. Although I'm thinking of upgrading to a skinner peep sight, and I might make a nice black leather sling for it.
