I’m thinking of a deep woods hammer: something like a 300-330 grain hard cast thumper.
Like to have one but think I will wait for the inevitable Ruger Recall.
not to mention the inevitable price drop

Why the hell can't they make a magwell that covers the mag, it looks ridiculous with a tiny pistol mag hanging out of it.

I don’t think there is a great solution. Given the different lengths of the different glock mags, making it short allows all lengths but if it was longer some wouldn’t work. Also for the ban states that are limited to 10 round Mags, there is no need for additional length.
