New Sickening Details in the 22 month Olds Murder.

On average, 38 children die in hot cars each year from heat-related deaths after being trapped inside motor vehicles. Even the best of parents or caregivers can unknowingly leave a sleeping baby in a car; and the end result can be injury or even death.

I call bs still. Just because some organization makes a statement, it's acceptable? NO!! The latter part of that statement is an absolute oxymoron.

As an admitted 'helicopter parent' of a young son, it's hard for me to fathom but facts are facts. It happens.
The only eye witness on the scene I've heard speak was 110% sold that the guy was innocent of any intentional harm to his son or the best actor in the entire world. Hopefully the truth will be found out but. I can't even conceive of what a motive would be (nobody would be stupid enough to take out a ridiculous life insurance policy and then have that kind of 'accident'.)
Just glad the little guy is resting in peace. The father, whether innocent or guilty will have hell to pay for the rest of his life.

^^. There's the rub. If it's truly an accident, nothing you can do to the guy is worse than what he is putting himself through. If it was intentional, then nothing you can legally do to him is as bad as he deserves.

It's actually not BS. They had several specials on TV the past few days showing that it's actually common and USUALLY occurs when there's a change in normal routine. I wouldn't wish this on anyone, such devastating loss.

No disrespect intended but yeah it is bull****! My wife and I raised 2 sons and helped raise a niece & nephew who we NEVER, EVER forgot were in a car, anytime. If someone says they forgot their child in a car they don't deserve to have children. I helped with the rescue of two special needs children who's so called mother left in a car in 90 plus degree heat three years ago. She didn't even claim to forget those kids she just wanted to shop in the damn store, claimed she was only in there for 10 minutes but witnesses & security cameras proved she was in two different stores for an hour and fifteen minutes! The kids were soaked in sweat, dehydrated and delirious when they were taken out of that car. Several people had to be physically held back when she came walking up to the car like nothing was wrong. People cheered when the police cuffed her and hauled her stupid ass away.

I don't care what anyone says. When my son was small enough to be in a car seat my eyes were always drawn to the seat when I was entering and leaving the car whether he was with me or not. It was just a natural parental instinct. He even went into the car at lunch. How do you not see the kid's feet hanging out of the seat or see the outline of his head? He wasn't an infant afterall. **** that guy and what ever his story is. He let his kid die in that car regardless of the circumstances. There is no excuse for that kind of mistake in my book.

I haven't heard a word about the wife/mother. Are they divorced, widowed, separated? Does father have sole custody? Why have there been no references to her in any of the news stories. Nothing about her being a grieving parent, co-conspirator, at home alone, packing for a cruise.... Absolutely nothing. This really seems strange to me.
