It's actually not BS. They had several specials on TV the past few days showing that it's actually common and USUALLY occurs when there's a change in normal routine. I wouldn't wish this on anyone, such devastating loss.

But, if he did search his computer for information on how long it takes an animal to die in a hot car it is damning evidence. I haven't heard if he was a single parent, widowed, divorced or what. If there were marital problems, I can't think of a more cruel and wicked way of striking out at the child's mother.

I don't care what anyone says. When my son was small enough to be in a car seat my eyes were always drawn to the seat when I was entering and leaving the car whether he was with me or not. It was just a natural parental instinct. He even went into the car at lunch. How do you not see the kid's feet hanging out of the seat or see the outline of his head? He wasn't an infant afterall. **** that guy and what ever his story is. He let his kid die in that car regardless of the circumstances. There is no excuse for that kind of mistake in my book.
