I like thinking outside the box but Flightlight's pistol is a solution looking for a problem.
I wish someone would come out with a 7.62x54 AR (an affordable one) but I've been saying thay for a decade starting when you could get 1k x54 for $90.

Id like that fightlite actually. Seems like it could be a fantastic truck gun.

I noticed the forward assist button is missing from the upper....could pose a problem. Why not use a slick side upper? Also, standard AR trigger groups may or may not work in them since it has a crossbar safety and not the standard lever style safety.

What does .50 Beowulf ammo run in price vs .45-70? Just curious. I know I can buy .45-70 for $32-38 a box $1.75 per round.

It's about the same. Depending on which bullet. It's been awhile since I priced any since I load my own. I'm running a 500gr Hornady XTP-FP. ....it's a hammer!

Dang, my .45-70 rounds are 325-375 grain.
