New vs. Used

Sorry I am new to the site and had a quick question for all of the members. Why are so many people trying to sell their used guns at new gun prices? Do used guns just hold value, is it a tax thing, or are people just high on prices? I have seen a lot of different guns but especially Glocks. I have seen Gen 3 Glocks on here for $500 plus and they are $499 brand new.

ill go ahead and sum it up for you...

1st- we have a bunch of tin foil hat fools around here that are willing to pay more for a used one so they dont have their name attached to a piece of paper somewhere.
2nd- we have a bunch of assholes here that are willing to take advantage of that to the fullest.
3rd- most of the folks here are in the atlanta/atlanta-ish area where people stupidly accept these prices are normal.

LOL you'll also notice guns that are priced used for new gun prices will have 180+ views and not ONE reply! Then alot of times people will drop the prices after awhile.

Another thing you see is a cheaper pistol with a bunch of ammo, holsters and other crap for a crazy price... I always think, why not post the ammo in ammunition and sell it separately and just sell the gun, you get more offers that way on both items separate... But go figure. After awhile you get numb to the high prices and just ignore them and move on.

If it's something fairly rare I could see it but not your every day average handgun that can easily be found in stores...

Or threads titled "Deal of the Day" "AWESOME Carry package" or others that don't tell you what it is, most the time if the gun brand/model is not listed in the title you can bet it's a bersa, hipoint or some other turd.

"I'm testing the waters with this bull shirt price. I don't have to sell."

Which is then usually followed up in four days by, "back to the safe she goes!"

I lol every time.
