NFA Sale Forum

No NFA never had its own forum. It was always part of the discussion forum. IIRC the description under the forum title on the main page used to include something about the selling of items. OR it had a sub-forum under the discussion forum. Either way I remember it not being a part of the classified section.

Am I dumb, or did ODT used to have a classified sections for NFA items?

You're not dumb. There was a single Class III classified forum, but it was very very slow turn over. It was mostly dealer postings with a rare private sale. I still have a shortcut for it in my bookmarks: https://www.theoutdoorstrader.com/forums/class-iii.285/
However, that forum and many of the classifieds were re-organized in the past year and each major category of firearm can now be sorted by various sub-category tags.

Ie: There is a rifle classifieds (forum #73), and you can click a button right above the title bar on the page to sort by:
- bolt action
- lever action
- NFA/ClassIII
- Pump action
- semi-automatic
- single shot

Here's the link for NFA Rifles: https://www.theoutdoorstrader.com/forums/rifles.73/?tag=nfa/class+3+item

Similarly, handguns ads can now be sorted by tags for NFA, revolvers, semiautomatic and single shots

Here is the link for NFA Handguns (?): https://www.theoutdoorstrader.com/forums/handguns.72/?tag=nfa/class+3+item

... and Shotguns: double barrel, NFA, pump, semi-automatic, and single shot

Here is the link for NFA shotguns: https://www.theoutdoorstrader.com/forums/shotguns.258/?tag=nfa/class+3+item

... and Accessories (which covers suppressors): AR15, Barrels, gun parts, holsters, magazines, NFA and optics

Here's the NFA Accessories (suppressors) link: https://www.theoutdoorstrader.com/forums/accessories.259/?tag=nfa/class+3+item

I don't particularly like this way of organization because it scatters all the NFA stuff all over the place, not to mention it doesn't make sense to have "NFA Handguns"; and machine guns and destructive devices (large bore or explosives) don't have a definitive home, and it relies on the person posting it to make sure to use tagging properly. (I guess we relied on people posting stuff in the right stuff before) But anyway, its not my forum, so I'll just roll with it.
