Hate to kill your boners but the reason for the decline is because there is an overall decline in tv viewing. There’s a lot of people that watch sports to have some sort of conversation fodder. Now that most aren’t congregating for work or leisure, casual sports fans see no need to stay up to date on sports. I’m not a huge fan of the virtue signaling in pro sports nowadays but for me it doesn’t change the game being played on the field any more than does the Bernie bro rolling my burrito at Chipotle.

But ya’ll knock yourselves out “being done” with the NFL.

The fake crowd noise is why I can't watch this year. It drives me nuts.

worse than the fake crowd noise is the announcers stating that the imaginary “crowd” is not happy with a call as they play fake boos.
