If I played defense in the NFL, I would just take a knee due to all of the rules that benefit the offense. They literally need to turn it into flag football. It has gotten to the point where you cannot hit anybody without a penalty.

He had his vices. But I remember watching NFL on the television and if the Giants were on defense I just watched LT. It was an incentive to take your eye off the ball (another great football book reference) and look at what was going on from that ROLB position.
