Nickel Plating Local to Atlanta Metro

I wouldn't be afraid to send it off by UPS delivery to a gunsmith shop in some other state.
Just insure the gun, send it with delivery confirmation, and get a written estimate / work order from the shop as soon as they receive it.

If it's a revolver I would use an FFL to ship it (if you're doing that). Both FeDEx and UPS make you ship handguns as Next Day, which is insanely expensive ($70+ for FedEx).

I just had Adventure Outdoors ship a pistol for me and if I remember right it was $25 bucks, simply because they can use USPS or 2 day as FFLs.
