For many years, 1994 - 2010 I'd get delayed. I had my brother pull my file and the only thing in it was an FBI inquiry for TS clearance at commissioning. I've talked to other Army officers that had the same thing happen. Now when I buy a rifle out of state, and I do not get delayed, I'm amazed.

I worked at a pawnshop next to fort Rucker for many years. Warrant officers and candidates always got delayed . Anyone that had an mos with secret clearance gets delayed. From my experience.

Yeah. You never know. I get delayed and my name is on 2 ffls and 7 tax stamps.
