Kind of cool but I'd have to invent a reason to have it. Give me some time... 
damn... that's a hell of a price drop wish it was the M-300...
I'm going to venture a guess that Nikon is about to upgrade this line, and fix all the problems with it. The loose knobs, that can lose zero just going in/out of a case. The inability to use non-rangefinding knobs (regular MOA knobs). The radically wrong BDC, that's only correct for a situation no one has (55 gr. 3200 fps, with 1.5" scope height over bore). Etc.
I have one of the 2-8X ones, and it's world-class glass, but the knobs suck. The laser and BDC is going to be a problem if your round doesn't match the BDC-- and it won't. You'll have to use the knobs for range correction. Which kinda defeats the purpose.

I bought one for the hell of it. I got an email saying that it shipped out. Figured I would give it a try. I should have it tomorrow.
