Georgia made a huge distinction ...
...for most of the State's history
CC was illegal,

and when a pistol toter's license (issued by the Ordinary, not Probate Judge) became available

unlicensed carry was kept legal in your car, land, hunting fields, or while target shooting BUT ONLY WHEN THE GUN WAS FULLY EXPOSED TO VIEW.
And those were huge exceptions that covered so many situations the super-majority of handgun owners in GA never sought the carry license.

The situation we have *now* is a recent development.

That will really cover you for any issues in the future and keep people who shouldn’t buy firearms from trying to buy from you.
