well there is no RULE on timely responses.

The rule is 3 months.
I got something I really wanted so it was a win for me.
It was good to hear he wasn't hospitalized or ill, but it was too bad his family wasn't doing well.

I answer every PM with a yes/no or thanks for the offer, some others, I sit and wait and never have a response. In the future, I'll wait 2 weeks, if they can't return my PM, straight to my Ignore list, that way we won't be wasting each others time.

How about the ones that ask for your "best price" or "bottom dollar"? When you promptly respond with something along the lines of "make me an offer"....you get nothing. What did they expect, me to cut it by 25% and beg them to buy it?

If I'm interested in an item for sale, I'll make an offer first. If seller accepts - we're done. If not, then negotiate and try to make a deal happen. It's not rocket science.

16 hours, those are rookie numbers. I waited 9 months for a reply, then we made a deal.
