Just saw this on Foxnews. There will be a huge boom in suppressor sales if this gets passed.

The bill calls for a refund of the $200 transfer “tax” for applicants who purchased a suppressor after Oct. 22, 2015, the original date of introduction.


So, many of you may be getting some refund checks in the mail.

So for all you speculators!!!! I have a stamp that was just approved but not received yet = $200 refund. I have a stamp that was submitted in August which is not even in their database yet but they have cashed my check, what happens with it? Instant approval? $200 refund.

This should also mean that the background check times for remaining NFA items should drop dramatically.

I doubt anyone will get any refunds. Just doesn't happen. Government rarely if ever rebates or gives (that which they take by threat of force of arms or imprisonment) anything "back." But, with my luck, it'll get out of committee and pass a vote and be signed into law before I get my stamps. I'll be at QRF standing in a line of "new buyers" walking away with their toys the day they buy them. Lol.
