This mentions Billionaire Bloomberg, who pledged $50 million (2014) to fight restoration of citizen firearm rights and promote making legal private transfers illegal, ban, prohibit and restrict 2A rights.

Bloomberg owns (funds and staffs) Mayor's Against "Illegal" Guns (MAIG), Mom's Who Demand Action and Everytown For Gun Safety anti-gun rights organizations.

They made a public statement:

Despite Polling Showing Wide Opposition, Governor Burgum Signs House Bill 1169, Making it Easy for Dangerous People and People with No Firearms Safety Training to Carry Hidden, Loaded Handguns Throughout North Dakota

HB 1169, a bill that allows dangerous people and people with no firearms safety training to carry hidden, loaded handguns throughout the state.

Their polling methodology has been questioned as it appears to over sample and carefully word questions to achieve a desired goal.

85% North Dakotans did not want their gun rights restored....

I suspect it's the same Bloomberg paid polling group who claimed 90% of Coloradoans wanted to give up their gun rights. That bill passed a public vote by a bit over 50%. It also lead to the first ever Colorado recall election for Morse and Giron, which lead to Eve Hudak stepping down just before the people fired her.

Good on ND, and the expectation is that 3 or 4 more states will go CC this year.

Meanwhile in GA, a state dominated with fake conservatives, we continue to be an anti 2A state for the foreseeable future. :tsk:
