I have both obsidians, oculus, radiant and surge. Other than the 9mm end cap on the 45 I have never had any issues. I wish they’d make a titanium surge.

Had (2) endcap strikes with obsidian 45 and 9mm endcap. Both times rugged’s service was superb.

What was the host gun?
did you use a booster?
did you check alignment before shooting with an alignment rod?
the type of ammo should never make a difference.

Odd, I haven’t had an issue switching ammo types with my Obsidian 9. Neither on my PCC or pistols.
