Would having gloves on help in a situation where there is a round explosion in the actual gun? Would it provide any legitimate protection?

I shoot with some thin gloves. After considering this it makes me reconsider if My gloves are more than basic heat shields.

Yeah that hand looked more like it was on the other end of the pistol.

My cousin blew a gen 2 G23 to pieces with Underwood ammo. His hand just got a blood blister.

I use that ammo for 357sig, thanks a lot lol

Those have always had better chamber support than older .40's. I'm still a little leery of it, even though I know it's wildly popular ammo. I may pull down the 30 rounds I have left and load em with a sane charge.
