Didn't even think about the heat transfer, thats a good point

I ended up buying the slim. Works better and no heat problem.

KAK makes a slim flash can that will fit. Joe Bob's sells them. Same can but made to fit smaller diameter rails.

@prolight sells the KAK slimlines. Good dude to deal with too.

Thanks for the tip, that looks pretty cool. I ended up getting a slanted rail and slim kak from prolight. Now I have a stripped out set screw in my gas block grrrrrr. I should have never messed with it
